The challenge

Part of the Barbon Insurance Group, HomeLet has provided reliable services for landlords and letter agents for more than three decades. 

This history of quality required branding that befitted their exceptional customer service. We took on the challenge to establish a premium feel for their suite of landlord insurance products, to be marketed to letting agents for reselling to landlords. 

Our approach

We started out by developing their core logo and brand palette. Utilising a dark navy background and bronze metallic tone, we were able to encapsulate the wanted premium look and feel for the brand.

For consistency, the current core logo was then used as inspiration to help us create four premium product logos.

After developing the new brand concept, we carried the project through the internal marketing stage to a teaser campaign, face-to-face product warm-up events, and to the final launch event.

The launch event revealed the new key products, and we created exclusive invitations and wider communications to drive attendance. To meet the creative challenge of an event hook, we built into the event a gin bar. For the event, we customised the product names to build brand recognition – for example, Ginnovate, Ginspire, etc.
